Examples of Godly and Ungodly Businesses

From this understanding, we can infer that business ideas that are good, profitable for mankind, or beneficial in other ways are from God. Conversely, businesses like sex trafficking and pornography are completely contrary to God's nature and His word.

God's Sovereignty and Human Free Will

God of All Realms

God is sovereign over both the physical and metaphysical realms, including the realm of the mind. He rules and reigns over all things yet gives us the libertarian free will to choose whether to accept or reject Him.

Our Existence Predetermined by God

For example, Acts 17:28 says, “In Him we live and move and have our being.” This passage highlights that God has predetermined our existence's boundaries. We didn’t choose our parents, location, or the time we entered the world—God orchestrated all these details.

Just like players in a basketball game can move freely within the game's rules, we have freedom within the boundaries God has set. If our actions lead us away from His divine will, He has ways to bring us back on track.

According to Hebrews 12:6, God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Thus, when we seek Him wholeheartedly, God will provide solutions and ideas better than we could have imagined, even if the benefits are not immediately apparent.

The Christian walk involves both challenges and blessings. The book of Ecclesiastes eloquently puts it: “There’s a time to plant and a time to pluck what is planted.” Each season of our lives involves God working behind the scenes for His glory and our benefit.
